Yeah, I live in Michigan. So it does get cold. I think you are right on on the repairs. This is what my estimate said when I picked up the car yesterday:

Service engine soon light is on. Diagnosed as faulty plenum and vent tubes.

Parts needed:
LLH000030 "Hose" $45.92
MLH000020 "Hose" $41.06
LKB000120 "Manifold Assy" $864.60

Traction control light and steep decline light stays on. Diagnosed as faulty brake switch and shifter assy.

Parts needed:
UCB000080 "Control Assy" $621.37
XKB000010 "Switch Assy" $14.69

I guess I could replace the hoses...but you think leaving the plenum will be ok? I know the dealer said it had a small crack in it...and that was all. I'm just surprised since the code LBK000120 is the upper intake manifold. So does that mean the whole things needs to be replaced?
