Default Top Coolant Hose "Popped" Off?

While I was sitting in a drive-thru for about 10 minutes, I heard a "pop" and saw the steam rising. At first thought it was a torn hose, but when I looked, the top hose came off the radiator. The temp was dead center before, and after putting the hose back on and toppin goff the fluids, all seems well. What would cause this to happen? I just had my 90K, and the hose was fine and was not a recall hose. Could it have been an air bubble? I don't know, but hopefully someone will. Let me know what you think...
