I am new to this site, as well as a new owner of a1998 D1 with 81,000. I live in Boston, and will most likely be using my truck for beach romps on Cape Cod.
I have been reading old posts on here during my lunch breaks and at night, I have learned so much.
I found out were to get a manual on CD, learned about Sea Foam (would be interested in seeing exactly were to put this stuff, could not open the old photo on the past post.) , Sorta learned the basics of how to replace break pads and rotors and so much more regarding equipment. I love the super model quote.. Fiance did not think it was as funny as i did... oh well.. I need to break her in anyway..
I will tell you this, It's a breath of fresh air knowing that there is such a great resource out there to help an eager but novice wrench turner like myself.

Oh, as I am eager to start the Mod process... since my truck is sadly stock... if anyone can point me in a decent direction for a brush bar on the cheap side that would be a nice start..
(oh and I read that thread as well.. I know the stock guards are useless. but at least its a start of things..
