Hands down the most fun car I've ever owned. They are a real drivers cars. Rides like it's on rails, go-kart ish sort of. Much larger inside than you would think. I'm 6'1" and don't put the seat all the way back. You can also get a lot more in them that you would ever imagine. They have 3 models the Cooper, the Cooper S and the John Cooper Works. We've got the S model and it's rated @ 24-26/32. However I doubt we get that the way we drive it. It is a car that begs to be driven. The S model will fly, then add the JCW package and you get another 40 HP and better suspension, exhaust, and brakes. Honestly most days I'd rather drive it that than my new Suburban. Mini also has a good community of users going for it. Just like Land Rover there are a ton of people just nuts about their rides. I'm regularly on
www.northamericanmotoring.com and
www.minicc.com If you are looking in Nashville ask for John Monk and tell him Jeff Hibdon sent you. John Monk is the man. He'll hook you up. We stopped in the week before the tree hit the Kalahari to look for fun and were back a couple of weeks later to get a new one. He's well aware of the Kalahari tree saga. If you notice you won't see any used Minis on the lot. That's because they hold their value so well. The are too close in price to the new ones they would have a hard time selling the used models since the new Minis would be just a little more.
