Hi,

I had the same problem and the garage cleared the air con drain hoses - one on each side, and that has stopped the water into the footwells. Once wet, the foorwells take an age to dry as the sound deadening and soundproofing is thick as!! And, it is a day's job to take the front carpet out as the seats and the centre console need to be removed.

I have taken the footwell side panels off and that has allowed me to lift the carpets and underlay, and prop up to dry out totally.

If it stays wet, you could be up for a new steel floor!!

Hope this is of some help

Regards

Ray
