Default Cruise control - slowly stopped working

Hey guys: Here's a scenario for you.

Our 99 Disco II has 67,000 km on it. So far just a MAF replacement.

The cruise control was awesome when we bought it last year.

Over time the cruise would slowly start to lose speed.... ie. set it at 100 km/h and it would slowly lose speed and lose a little at a time until suddenly you were only cruising at 90 or so.

Well, the cruise has finally stopped working totally!

Any ideas where to look at to see what was "slipping" and has finally kacked out?????

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Ken
