I too was thinking off painting the wheels black clor, but I dunno whether gloss or a flat color would look better.
But you have the same exact wheels as mine (Cyclone wheels), and I haven't seen them painted black before on any rover, so I think it would look great.
You and I are on the same page as far as rear bumpers are concerned. After I posted about body damage to the truck awhile back, I wanted to trim the bottom 1/4 panels and extend from the stock bumper that wraps around the side and ends at the wheel arch. I think it would look awesome.
