i think i figured it out
i think the strange noise i was hearing is a bad cat. is it normal for a cat to only make noise after the engine is hot. when i first crank up the engine it does not make noise, only when its hot. also, does a bad cat usually have a rhythmic pulse that lines up with the engine...
