Question Service Engine Light

On the way to Ohio yesterday morning, my Service Engine light came on. Glowing red in my face, and I know a red MIL is no good.

It came on during freeway cruising, and ironically came on just as the odometer was turning 159,000 exactly. Coincidence maybe?

No signs of irregular engine performance, everything drivetrain works, and operates fine. What does this mean? I checked the display under the passenger seat and no codes were being displayed? It gets me worried everytime I look at the light.

Although, I dunno if every Land Rover, pre-1995-1996, has the thing when you pull up to the gas station, open the gas cap and pressure is being released, like a good amount of it. I heard it on Ryan's disco, and Ethan's LWB as well. Seems like a normal thing. To the point...mine doesn't seem to do it when I went to fill up half the tank from the already half full tank, no pressure, if anything just a silent fart, nothing.

Could the Service Engine light have something to do with that? Like can something trip the light in the fuel system, like a bad fuel pressure regulator, slow fuel pump, etc.?

Hope I don't have to take the truck to the dealership to have this taken care of....I still need to have the gas tank replaced from the recall.
