Make sure the viscous coupling is still working, I hear they wear out after about 150K miles and new ones are costly. Depending on the age check to see if the distrib, coil and wires have been replaced. If not they can lead to some hard to diagnose electrical gremlins.
Check for rust on the frame as well, sometimes the galvanizing isnt the best and can lead to some trouble spots.
By this time motor and tranny mounts tend to have dried up and can come apart.
And spring saggage? on the drivers side.
Power steering pumps leak like stuck pigs, not much for concern though, seems like every rover does.
