Help - classic t case problem?!
Hey guys,
newbie here! I recently bought a 88 RRC, drove it home quite a few miles and had no problems. The other night, i came home pulled in the driveway...and then decided to pull back into the street to park it. I put it in reverse and stepped on the gas. RR didnt move just revved.
So...For whatever reason it will now only engage in 4 lo and 4 hi, i cannot get it to stay in regular drive or Hi. I took apart the whole center console area. trying to see if can get it into gear?! I cant? Anyone have any experience with this? it would be greatly appreciated. when i put it in high and then into gear (drive or reverse), i can hear it make a whining noise and can see the shafts spin...seems its just not engaging.
