I love all LR's period, but Disco's are just plain cool. Yeah they are slightly taller, but after trying out Discodude's (Ryan's) D1, which was a stick as well, I just love the rigidity of the truck.
My truck, yeah is pretty capable, but not to the extreme. Us Classics are wide, so maneuvering around stuff is a bit of a challenge, especially for LWB's. 
I say go for it dude.
