Default engine problems

first of all nice forum!!!


my idler and tensioner exploded on my timing belt, the engine i believe jumped
time!!!!!
so i bought the timing belt kit from dap inc. i set the crank in the safe position
alligned the marks on the rear cams with the exhaust cams put the new belt on but i have know compression! am i forgetting to do something or am i just plain doing it wrong????? am i 180deg off??? any info would help
i have the cd with all the instructions

2002 freelander s is the vehicle never been beat on or anything like that
and it only has 60,000 on the ticker



any help would be greatly appreciated my pregnant wife wants her car back to do pregnant woman stuff (i'm currently driving hers)
