The accumulator is that annoying electronic motor sound I hear when I first turn the key to on right?
If it is, I know where it is.
Sven, on yours, when you said it lost pressure, was that because the ABS accumulator lost its ability to pump?
Of course there is that, I think a three wire, sensor on the cap of the master cylinder. If I can get specs on that, I can test the sensor.
Also, I just remembered this just now, last winter, when I first got the truck, the red Brake light would do the same thing it was doing now, although, not as frequent in flickers. But last winter when the light did flicker, it was more of a "Full" On, and Completely "Off" light, like it would flicker bright and immediately go out when I hit a bump in the road. And this is the same thing it is doing now, but with a dimmer light.
EDIT: Nevermind about the accumulator, I just found out what it is. That little sphere shaped thing in the tight space next to the master cylinder.
