i would change it just to get it done with, i had the experience of it breaking...wasnt good....lets jsut say i had to do a little more work around the house for my dad......of course mine is a 1994 3.9, bought it with 160,000 miles on it..... so u might want to consider it,.....i read somewhere supposed to change it like every 70,000 miles

O yeah.. the mechanic said it wasnt really the chains fault..it was the cam gears freakin fault... it was worn down to where it had no teeth on it...!!
