Well, for starters I have a 93 RRC. I have the factory ADS set-up. Well about two weeks ago, when I started my truck, the radio didn't come on. The anti-theft light was blinking, and the lights would come on, when I turned the lights on. The radio finally did pop on, but over the past few weeks it had gotten worse, and now it won't come on at all
. My first thought was the ingnition, but everything else works..
So, I thought maybe the connections were loose, as my left speakers don't work. I removed my radio, and fiddled with the plugs, well stupid me...
I did this while the truck was on....
forgetting the fact that it has "ANTI-THEFT" written on it... Now the light doesn't even blink.... Did I kill it for sure, or do I have other problems. I really think the radio was just dying anyway, I just helped it along.... Damn. I may just replace with an aftermarket, and I came across a great post of installing one, while still using ADS.... Anyway...give me your .02 cents!!
