I ripped my off up in the hills two years ago and have yet to do anything about it. Doesn't feel faster, hardly louder too. Now...the cracked exhaust header that also happened when I ripped the muffler off...that's a different story. I should probably get that fixed...
I can send you pictures if you like...it's funny seeing yours and seeing what I've been missing for a few years.
