I mean to say it is bracketed in that way. It cannot move. I can tell the PO did something bad to the exhaust system. The pipe is crimped, and twisted in some spots, and apperently he had an exhaust shop bend it back, and just weld a cheap muffler on. It looks terrible, and is in a bad position, I just want to cut it off, and connect a strait pipe, and make it higher.

Thanks for the input people, I will just cut it off!
