Thanks you guys- I can't even figure out how to get the freaking door panel off. I see a screw under the door opener and 2 under the handle bar/arm rest thing...sorry to be a chick here, but how the hell does this door come off? I've always had shit*ty cars with visible screws (lol)
I would totally be doing the wood wedge if the window wasn't down 3 inches. I can't pull it up any farther. It does drop down to the lowest position eventually if I don't put something there to hold it up. I could care less if the window ever works. I don't really want to spend the $ to get it to go up and down when I usually have them locked and my son isn't allowed to put it down anyway.
With the winter approaching in New England, I need that sucker up. Come spring, I'm getting rid of it for the RR or X3, so that window doesn't matter.
I noticed if I push the power window button in the console it makes a clicking noise like the power still works, but if I push it up, it is silent. Something tells me that if this is a motor, it still works. Any ideas how to get the bleeding door off? thanks again, I know I'm a pain
