engine swap 3.5 to 3.9
Hey all. I have a 87 RRC with the 3.5. For some resone my motor is only reading less than 50 PSI on all 8. It ran before I parked it, NOT NOW !! I have fuel to the rail , spark at the coil and to the plugs, timing is sat 6 BTDC with the rotor pointing at #1. Could my timing chain have jumped on me ?
I have another rover it is 91 with the 3.9 in it , it runs nice but the tranny is shot. Would it be a direct swap tp put the 3.9 in ? Does anyone know where I can find a write up ? Or online manual ?
I really liked this Rover , but this motor problem is kicking my butt ,any thoughts ? Thanks Corbit.
