I am looking at using an SU manigfold and carbs, i found a good one here locally for a reasonable price. i like the SU's as i am very familiar with them and have a ton of parts and they do not get any simpler. and easy to fit a snorkel to.
I will start taking some pictures.
--also I have the ABS speed sensors on top of the balljoints on the hubs, anything wrong with just removing them and capping off the hole with a steel or alloy plate??
-regarding the tranny, is there a sensor for the interlock i can just remove? i just saw a bunch of wires heading back that way fron the engine bay and was wondering what all its for?
I am on the hunt for the transfercase, but since i already have this one it will go to use until i find a good deal.
---is there anyway to figure out a spedometer for this thing? maybe a manual cable style for this engine. or anyway to figure out the wiring to fit something else, maybe from a series rover?
I am also looking at fitting a standard distributor with petronix electronic ignition??
