I hate my '02 so I would say avoid them and go with a newer one, but my '03 was not bad while I owned it. Best advice, if your going to get one, buy it from a LR dealership and spend the few extra bucks and get the genuine Certified extended warranty. Its going to pay for itself. My '02 fell out of original warranty earlier this year and its been in the shop so much since then, i've already broke even on what I spent on extending the warranty.
