If you are pulling the oil pump apart, make sure that you mark where the gears meet before letting them fall out. If you do not match them up the same as they came apart you will lose oil pressure as the surfaces have mated together. To will most likely find that if you did not mark them that you will need new gears.
Agree with Terry about using a drill to get the oil through the motor before starting it. Run the drill for around 5 minutes before starting.
