Should be cool when complete. Don't skimp on the body prep. Especially priming, sealing, sanding. Any flaws lurking in the prime coat will show through in spades.

they sell to body shops, upholstery shops, detailers/customizer shops. They likely have a molding very similar to the original. Since it's not a 100 point restoration, the original pieces would be a waste.
