MuddyRangeRover, good luck...I would start with the starter solenoid and batt connections, make sure good contact. Then the gear indicator switch..I assume that autos have it like a stick has one.....I know the wiring has a lot to desire...
Also, update the picture, or sign with the before and after....more pics.
