Default ABS/ETC lights are off now ABS is over reacting

Hello all and welcome to my premier post! I just bought a '93 LWB w/ 150K on the clock and am new to Land Rovers. It has been well taken care of as far as I can tell. When I bought it the ABS and ETC lights were on. I figured out it was the front right wheel sensor causing tht error. Well now the lights are off but the ABS is trying to come on every time I use the brakes and the brake pedal sound like a miniature popcorn popper. I unplugged one of the sensors just so I could drive it. What gives?!?! ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS!
