No warning lights...nothing out of the ordinary. Not "slipping" gears...it's just the move from 2nd to 3rd ...usually as soft forward movement into 3rd.But instead of 3rd you land up in 5th.
What grated my carrot is the fact that it was so hard to move...then the next morning..fine.
Did some deep water/mud stuff,but had the engine/chassis well cleaned when we got back.Had a 20000k service last month...complained about some stiffness in the 1-2 shift. Was told that this was normal in the DiscoII .Said I could replace the syncro's under warranty,but it would not change anything. Did check everything (they said) and replaced the gear lever spring.Spoke to the dealer this afternoon...will be taking it in.
