I had the entire vehicle checked out at a LR dealership prior to purchase, and they found nothing wrong with it, plus the only warranty I could get was for just powertrain, and that cost me an arm and a leg, so I'm screwed.
I have gone back to the selling dealership numerous times to complain, filed with the Better Business Bureau, and have posted my feelings on several complaint web sites. At least venting makes me feel a little better, but like you, my checkbook is in serious (and continuous) pain, and I am SO over it.
I've finally come to the realization that I am NOT a LR person - I need something reliable instead of waiting and wondering what quirky thing will happen next, and how much it will cost to fix it this time....
