point taken, however if you are going to go wheeling and need to do the mods, then you'd have some sort of mechanical background or know how to do the mods. Once you come back from your wheeling trip, after awhile things will break down and will require mainence. take it to dealer? not a chance. fix it yourself.
most people that don't know or don't want to fix their own trucks/ cars will not want to do any serious wheeling as they don't want to brake anything. and it's those types that should lease. there are always exceptions though
guess that was the point i was trying to make.
