Ah, maybe that's why it's doing it. I have a prob at the moment with the car thinking a door is ajar and loads of weird things happen as a consequence. It's booked into the dealer to have this looked at under warranty at the end of the month.

I tried pushing the 'on' button without the keys in the ignition but this had no effect.
