yotos and rovers have something in common, they like to rust. i had a 1992 4runner and it liked to rust to. i read they rust easy because of the recycle steel that yotos use and the type of paint and etc.

Daway I learned that the early "yotos" (like my landcruiser aka landsnoozer) used 3 layers of sheet metal, and the material used to bond the sheet metal together was pretty weak stuff. When you start to bend and wrap that around edges, pockets are created in between layers and water eventually finds its way into over time.
