yup needs an entire intake. common on those. gets worse after a while. plastic valves go bad in them and cause a few codes as well.
and trust me if the lifters go its more then likely an engine cause you end up taking apart half the motor for the replacement lifters. and that doesnt guarantee the motor wont cause the lifters to go again.
not an easy job or cheap.
