Congratulations on the purchase of a "real Rover" (oh I'm going to get crap for that one.... ) Where are the pics, what year, model????

As for the girling fluid... it is a vegetable based brake fluid (castrol LMA break fluid is a name for it here....). It has no silicone in it, which tends to eat the rubber in seals and master cylinders... usually there are two caps, one for the brakes and one for the clutch... the clutch one is kinda tucked under the nearside wing beside the brake master cylinder...

As for the wires, well, lets just say, after years and years of different owners, you can never tell what is going on with the electrics, and even if they are still all stock, it is a Lucas system, so no bets on wether anyone can figure it out.... lol

Any questions, post away, that is what these forums are for... congratulations.....
