I know with my D1 trying to do a fix to keep it from sagging was impossible. It sagged so low it had the 4.0 melted into it from the intake plenum! Also it was fraying pretty bad. Just another one of those overengineered sound proofing measures done by LR. Like the 100 pounds of rubber backed sound proofing under the carpet that likes to hold water and rust the floor boards!
I got rid of that too!
