Well, today I got to wondering how this pump works. I ended up pulling it off, and dismantling. I found that the motor runs well, and smooth. Next, I pulled the pump apart. Inside the pump, there is a "rotor" which has holes around the perimeter with little metal pins that seem like they should slide out upon motion. Only one slid out freely. I took a small file and gently cleaned the surfaces on all of these holes so the pins moved freely. Next, I cleaned all other debris out of the pump after taking the rest apart. I re-assembled and put back on Rover. I tried bleeding out the pump, but got a low pressure and air filled flow of fluid. I decided to try the brakes. They work now, but don't seem quite right, I do have boost pressure though. Should I try bleeding at the "ball" and the abs block? Thanks
Dan
