Ok guys. I still haven't done much work on my ignition because other more important things have popped up. Like the famous wheel wobble at highway speeds so I got my OME damper which I STILL haven't installed but will be doing so Wednesday (tomorrow, May 10th, 2005). I got my Optima Red Top Battery which allows all the instrumentation to light up, and my RH headlight to light up completely. Before, only half of my instruments would light up and my Headlight was dim with a yellow tone ( while PIAA H.I.D. bulbs are in the Bezel ).
I also removed the running boards. For a second there, I thought the original owner had put a 1" lift on it because without the steps, I've come to realize how much groud-clearance there really is. I'm a short guy and I'm slowly becoming used to Climbing into my truck..lol. (I'm exagerating of course)
I started this thread because I had installed the K&N Filter. Its been about 2000 miles or so since then and the filter is still providing good mileage.
I recieved my Hi-Lift (48") today and I'm a little scared. It's heavier than I imagined and I'm now having second thoughts about mounting it on my spare tire. Would my hinges out back go kapoot if I was carryin the jack around back there for a month or so, while I get my roof rack?
Ibjettin, to answer your question from your thread (I sorta hijacked yours for a second there), Yes the leather headliner will be custom made. I too suffer from the droopy headliner.
On friday (May 13th), stock-sized (235/70 R16) BF-Goodrich All-Terrains will be replacing the Michelin XPCs (which I think are GREAT tires).
I have a camping/biking trip commin up Memorial weekend so I'm also looking for a 4-bike Hitch Rack, I have the 2" reciever so if you have one layin around please contact me.
After the trip, I'll be purchasing the Roof Rack from Get-Rhino (ad on this forum). I'll be getting the SD-styled Voyager rack. By means of my workplace, I'll be buying 4 Hella 4000s...2 Pencil Beams and 2 Eurobeams. And a worklight at back, plus the 2 LR Driving lights I'll be installing on my LR Brush Bar (If you have one of those as well, let me know)
Southdown USA Skid Plates for the tank, which was replaced during the recall, and plates for everything in the front.
As of now, that's all for the list. As you may have noticed there isn't a winch on that list. I would rather become an expert (like Bill Burke

) at winching with my Hi-Lift before I move into the more sophisticated stuff.
To sum this all up, the bug has bitten me, and now I'm addicted to my Land Rover and to wheelin.
