Default manifold to exhaust gasgets

Is it common for discoverys to develope the exhaust tick from the manifold to exhaust flange gasgets? Both my 1995 I used to have, and the 1996 I have now both do it. I even replaced them on the 95 and it still ticked under throttle. Not noticable at idle or crusing on the highway though. Guess I am gonna have to order a pair of the gasgets from Atlantic British and swap them out. Hope them flange bolts come loose. Thanks Mike
