Although I can see the confusion where the term "hybrid" is being used.
I guess most think of hybrid like this, here's some pics of Range Rover's
Cut down to 88" with Series II body work:

Also the Classic Range Rover was produced with the TDI engine (200Tdi) and I think some of the latter V8's may well have had the R380 gearbox as well.
