bird your not going to get better gas mileage from a fram or a k and n, they give more power which robs you of gas.
you forget your mpg rating is city driving but you dont say what your average speed is?
you can do 60mph and idle for both an hour and still average 30 mph and crappy gas mileage.
listen dude, we build these cars way better then any aircraft. way better then we did years ago like your disco. thousands of engineers have made every effort to get the best mpg possible. trust me you are wasting your money. I know you want to do something to get something better but trust me there is nothing you need to do except make sure the air pressure is good and the oil level is good.
trust me we do it alot better then before.
