Check the passenger lock switch first. It may be dirty or need some soldering.
Worst case , the body ecu is acting up.

As for the cargo door, you should get the workshop manual or the Haynes manual and attempt to take apart that door. The mechanism may need some silicone or lithium grease and some TLC.You would see it go up partially when you get ice in it. That it would be doing it now suggests you have a new development in the door mechanism.
