Door seals
hey everyone, i'm new in the forum and i wanted to know about the door seals in my defender... I stay in Uganda and bought the car second hand and it has been through quite a few "local" mechanics which do things their own way... So here's what's bothering me, the original door seal has been removed and replaced... When it rains water comes in (hehe it comes in everywhere!!!) from the bottom of the door, so i removed the panel to try and solve the problem... What i discovered what that the seal at the bottom of the door frame does not allow the water that enters from the window to drain outside and thus it comes in the car... So my question is where should the seal be positioned??? I uploaded some pics, and where there's the brown patch was where the seal had been placed (and that i removed) Any help on this would be really appreciated.. ah i forgot the defender is a 300Tdi 98 model..
