It was delivered to to Africa as ordered LHD by the photographer that used it as his "office" for 5 years. He then returned with it to New Mexico where he traded it a short while later for an 88". Pete Rose (not that Page Ranking) bought it and owned it until '93 when I bought it. In the interim he had a mechanic fail to close up the radiator and the engine siezed in '69. So being an engineer, he designed and hogged out an adaptor plate from a block of aluminum to mate a 289 Ford to the LR trans. Dana 60 narrowed with chromemalloy inners as he was tired of breaking axles.

So then I bought a '92 LSE in Cornish Cream about '96, drove it until a couple of years ago when a new Sienna decided he didn't like the color red on stop lights and tapped me doing about 40. He lost. My (then) fience' and I drove away. He got the engine relocated into the interior. Did I mention this happened 10 days before my wedding and 2 weeks in Kauai?

So a week ago I found a '95 LWB with 88K on the clock in (oddly enough) Cornish Cream at an insurance auction. After my succesful bid, it was delivered from LA up here in Sacramento last Friday, June 29th. I will be done with the repairs to the passenger side headlight assy and wing tommorrow, then I intend to swap out the BW for an LT230. It already had a medium duty OME setup put in it I would say in the last year or so. Still has the compressor and tank, so going to setup OBA soon as well.

So other than Rover stuff, married, 2 daughters 10mo and 3 yrs, I work for a software publisher as an artist/animator/designer. I love gold prospecting and live in one of the better places to "play". In fact the LWB will make an excellent dredge hauler. Might as well get there in style and comfort as well as ability.....
