The Buick engine hails from back in the day when Chev,Pontiac,Olds, Buick and Caddilac all had their own different engines. So it would all depend on what you have in mind, how old or new are the componants to be swapped?, how much of the drive line do you want to change? Bell housing conversion adaptors can be made to fit anything to anything, basicly it is down to how much $$$ you want to spend. The stock tranny in the RRC's are fairly stout out the box and the x case has a very low creepy cawl low ratio, the only downer is the engine its self.
