Thanks for your responses. This is what I was told by the mechanic...
the water pump shaft broke the fan ony grazed the radiator ( I did stop as soon as i lost power steering I looked at the temp at that time and it did not overheat.) So he says it needs a water pump and pulley, serpentine belt and possibly a fan clutch assembly they wont know this until they put it back together. Is that true?
