Thanks K12,i tried to open the sunroofs with the allen key.It started well the first few turns then i met resistence,it opened about half an inch on both sunroofs and then returned to the closed position easy enough.I'm going to try to clean the terminals as you suggested,i'ii let you know how i get on.
