Gray Market Vehicles. That's one reason the G500 & G55 are so popular and so expensive. They were first imported by private companies, unitl I guess Mercedes decided they would like some of the action. They still cost an arm and a leg but at least there is dealership support.
So yeah it might be possible but it'll end up costing as much as a G-wagon.
