You don't mention whether you have a 90 or 110. The earlier 90's were simply a 2 panel version of the three panel 110 headliner. It was a molded piece held up in the center with pushpins. I had a bit of sag in my center panel, so sprayed some 3M (77?) spray adhesive in there. I pulled down the panel enough to get access to the inside, sprayed the roof and panel, waited about 5 minutes for the adhesive to "tack" up, and pushed it back up. It has never moved since. I'm not sure if my issue was the same as yours, as I'm confused if your panel is seperating, or the whole panel is sagging.
