There is a pretty big difference between the CDL and actual lockers. The CDL (Center Diff. Lock) simply sends power 'equally' to both front and rear diffs instead of allowing it to fluctuate back and forth, or front to rear. Your axels have open differentials in them, so without traction control or a limited slip, it is going to send power to the wheel the spins the easiest. I would imagine your highway street tires don't really help you very much either. (I assume this from looking at your sig).
Make sense? Best bet for you is to get some survival gear and store in in the Disco for your future adventures.
