This is, perhaps, one of the most meaningful and significant movements in support of injured servicemen. The photo ops and "see ya later, boy" attitudes shown to returning vets 35 years ago was the biggest insult ever shown a soldier. My son, who is stationed on Kodiak Island AK, is involved with the 4x4 club there ( many of the members are active duty) who hosted many vets over many weekends this past summer. They fly them in, take them fishing, camping and offroading, and are grateful and humbled by the experience. Give an injured vet something special, and he will give you something special in return.
