Hi, I lhave a Td4 02 Freelander Diesel & get 8 ltrs per 100k on average, town & country driving, about 32 mpg, I have done 92000 k only replacing belts, front rotors & pads, it does beach work & tows a caravan, overall it has been a good vehicle, I like the new model. Diesel is the way to go.
